Learning this variant is more fun than it seems. Texas Hold'em emerged in the 20th century, in the state of Texas (USA). Today, it is the most popular variant in casinos and poker championships.
Texas Hold'em works as follows: at the start of the hand, each player receives two cards and makes combinations with three of the five community cards. In each round, the player has 3 options: fold, call or raise.
After all players have made their decisions, the first 3 community cards are dealt face-up on the table. Then a new round of betting follows. Whoever has the best hand takes all the chips in the pot, and a new hand begins.

Order of poker hands (combinations), from weakest to strongest:

No pair, just a high card.

A single pair, made up of two cards of the same value.

Two pairs, made up of two cards of one value and two cards of another value.

A pair in your hand combined with another card on the table.

Five consecutive cards.

Five cards of the same suit, not necessarily in sequence.

Three of a kind plus a pair.

Four cards of the same value, in different suits.

Five consecutive cards of the same suit.

A consecutive sequence of cards up to the Ace, starting from the Ten.
Each player receives two cards, known as hole cards. After that, they can use five more community cards.
A player is chosen as the dealer, who is responsible for dealing the cards. They will turn over the flop, the turn and the river, in order. Whoever has the best hand wins all the chips bet, known as the pot.
In Texas Hold'em, there are three types of betting: No Limit, Fixed Limit and Pot Limit. Here are the differences between them:
No Limit: Players can bet any amount of available chips at any time.
Fixed Limit: Players must bet at predefined times, with predetermined values.
Pot Limit: Players can only ever bet up to the value of the pot.
There are three positions at the Texas Hold'em poker table: early position, middle position and late position.
The following actions exist at Texas Hold'em tables:
Call: When the player matches the bet already in play to continue to the next round.
All-in: When a player bets all of their chips.
Raise: When the amount already bet in the round is increased.
The pre-flop is when the player has the option to play their hand by calling, folding or raising.
The flop is the name given to the first three community cards.
The turn is the fourth community card turned over by the dealer on the table.
The river is the fifth and final community card turned over by the dealer on the table.
Showdown is the name given to the final moment of a poker hand. Players need to reveal the strength of their hand to determine who wins the pot.
